U.S. Microbics Inc. announced Thursday that its wholly owned
subsidiary Sub-Surface Waste Management Inc. and Environmental
Reclamation Inc., a full-service contracting and engineering firm
specializing in environmental projects, will form a new entity called
Environmental Bio-Reclamation LLC.
That company has been selected by a confidential major company for a
paid demonstration of its proprietary bio-augmentation technology in
consideration for qualifying as a contractor to treat a significant
quantity of impacted soil at a former operation in the western United
States.
U.S. Microbics creates and markets proprietary microbial technology
that provides natural solutions to environmental problems.

MassHysteria Inc., a developer of new media applications and Web
solutions, has added two new features to SyncTV for the NBA
Finals.
A real-time Web application that is viewed in conjunction with live
televised NBA playoff games on NBC, SyncTV now offers visitors audio and
video options to see and hear clips, interviews and highlights of the
current or previous games. By integrating streaming components into the
application, MassHysteria added the ability to include several audio
options -- including live home and visiting team broadcasts, ESPN Radio
broadcasts and a choice of nine foreign language broadcasts -- and such
video options as the pre-game show, selected interviews and game
highlights.
Designed by Venetec International, StatLock catheter securement
devices will be included in a major new catheter kit from B. Braun,
one of the world's largest suppliers of health care products.
The StatLock PICC Plus is designed to hold winged catheters of variable
dimensions, including central venous catheters and peripherally inserted
central catheters. The first to include StatLock in catheter kits, B.
Braun will sell them in Europe and Asia.
Rancho Santa Fe
Rancho Santa Fe Technology Inc., a leader in mission critical
network communication services, has been awarded a contract to install a
sophisticated, high-speed structured cabling system for Brown &
Caldwell's new headquarters in Walnut Creek.
The project will include the installation of Category 5 enhanced
structured cable from Lucent's Systimax product line.
