RANCHO SANTA FE TECHNOLOGY, WELLS FARGO BANK'S PRIVATE CLIENT SERVICES SALES AUTOMATION GROUP TEAM-UP TO UPGRADE COMPUTERS FOR NOT-FOR-PROFIT COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH CENTER

San Diego - February 29, 2000 - Wells Fargo Bank, Private Client Services Sales Automation group and strategic business partner, Rancho Santa Fe Technology, Inc., a leader in mission critical network communication services, have teamed up to provide Comprehensive Health Center, a not-for-profit community health center, with Dell computers at below wholesale market prices.
The computers will be used to replace aging 386 and 486 computers in a long anticipated upgrade to the Comprehensive Health Center management information system. Wells Fargo Bank Private Client Services was able to deliver these computers at a significant cost savings to Comprehensive Health Center during a systems upgrade initiative. Wells Fargo Bank Private Client Services opted to aid a San Diego Community health care clinic with a much-needed donation.

Tres Conrique, president of Rancho Santa Fe Technology, Inc., said his company provided a number of services to Comprehensive Health Center, including the installation of computer hardware and software, upgraded servers and network cabling, and the set-up of a physical hardware training facility. RSFT will also provide continued computer maintenance for the health center.

According to Dr. Nora Faine, executive director of the Comprehensive Health Center, the generosity of Wells Fargo Bank and RSFT has enabled Comprehensive Health Center to ensure Y2K compliance, with minimal impact to its annual budget.

"The ability to obtain these computers at below the wholesale market rate has been a wonderful opportunity for our health center," said Dr. Faine. "With the growing number of uninsured persons, this means more dollars will be available for direct health care services to indigent families while we improve our technology to move into the new millennium."

Comprehensive Health Center, established in 1977, provides high-quality, low-cost medical and dental services to low income families in southeastern and central San Diego at three clinic sites. The health center manages multiple public and private funding sources to support a wide range of care to children and adults, including internal medicine, women's health, pediatrics, HIV specialty services, and dental care. Additionally, Comprehensive Health Center works with schools and other community-based organizations in the community to develop programs that expand access to health services through health education and outreach efforts.
