Rancho Santa Fe Technology, Inc., a
leader in mission critical network communication services, has
completed the installation of a sophisticated, high-speed
structured cabling system for Grossmont High School at 1100
Murray Drive in La Mesa, according to Trestand Conrique,
president of Rancho Santa Fe Technology, Inc.
Conrique said
Rancho Santa Fe Technology worked in conjunction with Sadler
Electric to provide the upgrade for the high school's
structured cabling system, which will service a Main
Distribution Frame and an Intermediate Distribution Frame
located within 14 campus buildings. The AMP-certified project,
designed as part of a major power and technology upgrade for
the high school, included the installation of approximately
17,000 feet of fiber optic cabling, 80,000 feet of category 5
(e) cabling and 17,000 feet of coaxial cable for the school's
cable television system.
"It is very rewarding for our company to
have the opportunity to support Grossmont High School's goal
to become a next-generation 'digital high school'," said
Conrique. "Rancho Santa Fe Technology understands the
importance providing the high-speed data infrastructure that
will support the growing technological requirements of our
local educational institutions."
Conrique said that Rancho Santa Fe
Technology has completed network infrastructure projects for
the Carlsbad High School, Cajon Valley Union School District,
San Diego Jewish Academy, University of San Diego, University
of California at San Diego, Bakersfield College and the Santee
School District."
Rancho Santa Fe Technology's John Gallen
was the project manager for the Grossmont High School
technology upgrade. Rancho Santa Fe Technology worked on the
project in conjunction with El Cajon's Sadler Electric.
